Ready for a little Heavy Metal? Flourishes October Newest Release.

Silver, gold, copper, or bronze — whichever metal you pick, just make sure it has a presence on your creation! Just that simple — use a little metal on your card and you’re in the running. Finished Card size is 5" x 7". I used black metallic paper for the base. I used 'Vita Bella" by Little Yellow Bicycle for the next  layer. I then added a piece of blue metallic paper and then added turquoise glitter paper. I took a piece of paper and ran it thru my Xyron machine to apply adhesive to the back and then added tin foil on top for my metal statement. I then ran it thru the Big Shot using Forest Branches embossing folder. Then I took my Tim Holtz alcohol inks in the following colors; Stream, Bottle, Eggplant, Pool, Citrus and Denim and applied directly  to the tin foil and used Tim Holtz applicator to swish the inks around. I then ran my black Stazon on top to high light the emboss image. I ran it thru the Big Shot again using a different folder called 'Birds and Wreath". Again I ran my  black Stazon on top to high light the second emboss image. I stamped Orchid from the set called "Orchids" by Flourishes using black crafter's ink by Clearsnap on Very Vanilla paper. I colored the image using the following reinkers by Stampin'Up; Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry, Always Artichoke, Lucky Limeade, Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz. I added green metallic ribbon by Michael's. I stamped saying from the set called Butterflies & Blossoms by Flourishes using black crafter's ink by Clearsnap on Very Vanilla paper. I colored the piece of metal hodgepodge by Stampin'Up by using my copic marker BG18 with a Copic Airbrushing machine which I laid on top of saying. I also colored the 2 white flowers as well. I added some glue gloss and Fairy Dust glitter 'Mixed Berries" to the blue flowers. Added some white flowers from Prima Marketing.
