JustRite Friday Challenge #065: For The Love Of ...

Our challenge to you is to make a project using your JustRite stamps depicting something you love. Examples: A love/Valentine card for a spouse, sibling, friend.  A love scrapbook page for a child.  An I/you/we love chocolate (or other food, shoes) card or gift.  A floral card because you love flowers, etc.  Easy enough?!! My Valentine's card is something I would like to get for Valentine's Day which is perfume. I started off using Blushing Bride for my base which is 5"x 7" card size. I then used Penny Black's 'Filigree Gold Foil' for the second layer. I then laid down some crochet lace ribbon by May Arts on top of that I used a paper heart which I had used Worn Lipstick distress stain by Tim Holtz along the edges and on the heart. I cut out another heart using Cheery Lynn die called 'Heart to Heart' and used 'English Rose' collection by Kaisercraft. This die cuts out 3 different hearts. I then applied the Worn Lipstick distress stain to the cutout. I stamped the lace border using the set called 'Lace Borders' by JustRite Stampers using platinum pigment ink and embossing powder by Lindy's Stamp Gang called 'Kaiser Russet'. I colored it using Lindy Stamp Gang Magicals using pinks and reds.I cut this out leaving a little halo and mounted them using foam dots. Then I cut out 2 hearts using a smaller die that comes with the set using red metal sheet by Ten Second Studio and placed them where shown. I then cut out a square using some flocked paper from the same collection using Spellbinders 'Fleur de lis Square' die. I inked the flocked paper by using Rouge Fluid Chalk by Clearsnap. I took a circle by RiffRaff designs again used Worn Lipstick distress stain to color. Then I used Top Boss to coat the chipboard and added 2 coats of embossing powder by Lindy's Stamp Gang called 'Kaiser Russet'. I cut out a label using Penny Black's 'Filigree Gold Foil' and using Spellbinders 'Label 20'. Using pop up dots I laid the label inside the chipboard. I stamped the 'Eau de Cologne' using the set called 'Shabby Chic Labels' by JustRite Stamps and embossed using gold EP. I colored it using Lindy Stamp Gang Magicals using pinks and reds. I outlined the embossed edge using Sweet Melon Smooch ink by Clearsnap. I cut out the red metallic flourish using red metal sheet and Tim Holtz's die called 'Elegant Flourish'. I cut out the other flourish using English Rose paper and the die called Fanciful Flourish by Cheery Lynn Designs. I attached these where shown. I stamped the word 'Love' from the same set called 'Shabby Chic Labels' by JustRite Stamps using platinum pigment ink and black EP. Added some Prima flowers and Rosette Vanilla flowers by Stampin'Up as shown.

I have entered this card in the Quietfire Style: Queen of Hearts Challenge
