Stamping Dragons Card Challenge - Is Anything but a Card

Well I'm back with another project for Stamping Dragon Designs and this week's challenge was anything but a Card? With Halloween around the corner I decided to make a Trick or Treat Bag. I attached the handles using orange rhinestone brads.
Here are some pictures of the other sides of the treat bag full of candy. Too bad my son doesn't go out Halloweening anymore, not that this bag would hold much candy.

Side 2 - I used a tag from the Happy Haunting by Graphic 45

Side 3 - I cut out a Spellbinders 'Jack O'Lantern' die and then attached it to double side adhesive and then used orange and black glitter to colored the eyes and mouth.

Side 4 - I made a tag using the smaller image of the Pup in Pumpkin by using the Nested Pumpkins by Spellbinders using orange metallic paper.

DDC #32 - How Do You Fold

Well I'm back with another card for Digi Darla's and this week's theme is "How Do You Fold". I saw this video by Dawn Griffith
http://dawnsstampingthoughts.typepad.com/dawns_stampin_studio/2012/05/fancy-fold-albumcard-video.html

I cut a piece of Bo Bunny 'Forever Fall' paper 11"X 11". I folded the paper corner to corner so you end up with a large triangle. As you line the paper  up the long side will lie vertical on the score-it board, the point will face right and you will score at 4 1/2". Then you will line the paper up so the long side will lie horizontal and score 5 1/4" and 9 3/4". Then you flip the paper over and score at 3" at each end. These 2 ends are pushed forward to create a diamond fold. I cut 2 pieces (2 1/2" x 4 1/2"left side) of Bo Bunny red double dot and cut another 2 pieces (2"x 4") for the right side. I just used both sides of the Bo Bunny paper for the sides. I then cut a piece of Brown Bo Bunny dot paper for the centre which is 4"x 4 1/2" and 2 - 2" squares for diamond fold. I printed "Life is like a Piano", Sunny Bouquet and the Happy Birthday all from Digi Darla's onto shimmery white paper. I colored the Sunflowers using Prismacolor pencils and added bronze glitter for the centre. I  added some colour to Life is like a Piano using Prismacolor pencils and pumpkin Smooch ink along the edge. With the Happy Birthday I added some Tangerine and Chestnut Roan Fluid Chalk to tone down the white paper. I too added some Pumpkin Smooch ink to edge.

I added orange glitter to the nails as well as Lime glitter for the grass using a 2 way glue pen. I cut out a frame using orange paper and using Tim Holtz 'Vintage Cabinet along with Movers & Shapers Mini Cabinet die. I popped this up using pop up dots over my colored image. I added some orange glitter to the outside opening again using 2 way glue pen. I cut out a black fence using a Memory box die called 'Estate Fence'. I added purple and orange rhinestones as shown. I cut out the tree from a piece of paper from Carol Wilson Fine Art that I had forever. I added some Lime and Bronze glitter to give the appearance of grass and tree roots. I cut out another grave to add dimension by popping  it up. I added some flock bats using Stampin'Up 'Wicked Fun' Specialty paper. I added some halloween ribbon by Michael's.

Loves Rubberstamps Card Challenge - Inspired by a Photo

october 2ndI'm back with another card challenge for Loves Rubberstamps. This week's challenge is base on this photo which uses different fall words and different colors. I started off using copper metallic paper which is a 5"x 7" finished card size. I again went back to S.E. I collection called Homestead 'Weeping Willow' for the first layer. The second layer I used Bo Bunny 'Fall Nature' and for the third layer I used leaf background that was in my stash. I then took a piece of Tim Holtz Distress Collection ColorCore Cardstock by Core'dinations and ran it thru a Cuttlebug folder called 'Autumn Words' and used a Tim Holtz Diffuser Circle on top so it left me a circle with no words on so I can place my image. I used the Urn stamp from the set called 'A Season of Thanks' by Flourishes. I stamped the image using black crafter's ink & colored this image using Prismacolor pencils. I then cut it out using Spellbinders 'Lacey Circles' and sponged the following colours; Tangerine and Chestnut Roan Fluid Chalk to tone down the white. I then outline the edge by using Pumpkin and Molasses Smooch ink by Clearsnap as shown. I added some copper flourish ribbon by Michael's in the corners. I made a Chocolate Chip satin ribbon bow and added a maple leaf button tying orange thread in the middle. I place this top of the bow.

"Add A Little Sunshine" (use yellow/orange/sunset/rise colors)

And here's my creation using Digi Darla's (DD Fall Leaf with Trout)
I started off using gold metallic paper which is a 5"x 7" finished card size. I used Bo Bunny's collection called 'Forever Fall Nature" for the first layer and used S.E.I. Homestead 'Whispering Willow' for the second layer. I then added a leaf background which I had in my stash like forever and placed it on a slant so the edges went over and were taped on the other side. I then added another piece of Bo Bunny paper. I cut out the maple leaf using red glitter paper and Spellbinders "Nested Maple". The other maple was cut out using Bo Bunny 'Sunflower" paper using Stampin'Up Autumn Accents die. I wrapped gold netting by May Arts as shown before placing the die cuts. I printed out 'Fall Leaf with Trout' onto shimmery white paper and coloured the trout using Prismacolor pencils.
