Stamping Dragons Card Challenge - 'Oh Baby'

Well I'm back with another card for Stamping Dragons and this week's hostess is Crystal and she would like us to do a baby card. I decided to use Jiggy in Crib which you can find in the store here; http://dragonslairdesigns.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=403_411&products_id=1024 and colored him using Prismacolor pencils. I started off using Certainly Celery paper for my base which is a 5"x 7" finished card size. I used an old Nursery Rhyme Scrap kit by K & C Company for the rest of my papers. I then cut out 2 large corner pieces using a Spellbinder die that you can only get by ordering Amazing Grace kit by Becca Feeken using green paper from the collection. I laid this down and on top of that laid down a large oval frame that I cut out using  green with blue border paper using Memory Box die called 'Cherise Label'. Then I cut out another frame using pink paper and another Memory box die called 'Tiffany Frame' and laid this on top of the other oval frame. I then laid down Jiggy in Crib on top of the oval frame using foam dots. I cut out 2 smaller corners by Spellbinder die from the same kit that I ordered using yellow dot paper. I sponge on the following colors; yellow, blue and green. I attached the 2 smaller corners by using foam dots as shown. I added some yellow and blue seam binding in the opposite corners. I added a bow using the same colors as shown. I cut a frame using Spellbinders 'Framed One' using green paper and added a sticker as shown. Used another sticker and matted it with yellow dot paper as shown.Pin It Now!

Whimsy Card Challenge - Make A Christmas Card using Traditional Xmas Colours

I'm back with another card for Whimsy Digital Stamps Part 2, our team decided to have mid blog reminder, because we have a big group. So this is still part of the Nov 7 challenge of making a Christmas card using Traditional colors,- okay I decided brown and blue were traditional colors. I started off using a 6"square card using Crumb Cake as my base and the real reason why I used these colors I fell in love with this collection of papers from Pion Designs called 'Silent Night'. I used 2 layers of papers before cutting out the middle of the third layer using Spellbinders 'Lacey Squares'. I then used this ribbon from May Arts around the inside of the square. I then printed out Nativity Scene by Crissy Armstrong onto shimmery white paper and colored it using Prismacolor pencils. I tucked the Manger and the donkey inside the square and left the other animals looking on from the outside. I added some Baja Breeze seam binding along with a bow. I added some blue and tan flowers from Prima Marketing along with some brown flourishes. I printed out the sentiment from Whimsy Stamps called 'Season's Greetings Sentiments' onto shimmery white paper and punched it out and back it onto a piece of crumb cake which was punched out using large oval punch.

Our Topic this month is to
use Traditional Christmas Colors
Don't forget! You don't have to use a whimsy image.
It would be great if you did though, and it doesn't have to be a card.
 We welcome all paper projects.

Our Prize this week is

Don't forget also...As well as a random winner being chosen each challenge

Loves Rubberstamps Design Day

If you are looking for Sparkle N Sprinkle Winter Wonderland Blog Hop, please click here; http://stamping4you.blogspot.ca/2012/11/sparkle-n-sprinkle-winter-wonderland.html

Well I'm back with another card for Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration day, but it's not a Christmas card this time. This time of the year is really busy time for my family we have 5 birthdays before Christmas and 1 right after. Normally my mother has one big party for everyone and that way she's not having party after party.  I decided to get  my Dad's Birthday card whose birthday is in a couple of weeks done now. I saw this stamp set back in September at a craft show here in Edmonton and knew this was for him. Every fall my Dad goes hunting for either geese or ducks with all of his hunting gear in a little trailer. Most of the time he gets rid of the ducks & geese because no one eats them.
Anyways here is my card, I started off using bronze metallic paper for the base which is a 5"x 7" finished card size. I used S.E. I. paper collection called 'Homestead' for the rest. I used the stamp set called 'Oh Duck' by Sheena Douglass and you can find it here:
http://www.lovesrubberstamps.net/category_32/Sheena-Douglass.htm
I stamp the duck using Black Memento ink which Laura carries in the store and created a mask on copy paper which I cut out. I then masked out the bird and I used my Copic airbrushing system to create the background. I then colored the duck using my Prismacolor pencils. I stamped 'Happy Birthday' using Whimsy Stamps set called 'Celebration Mini Tickets' using black pigment ink and embossed using blue and green embossing powder by Clearsnap. You can find this stamp here; http://www.lovesrubberstamps.net/category_146/Raindrop-Echo-Designs-Sentiments-Collection.htm
I cut out the paper called 'Whispering Willows' paper to create weeds around the pond.

Just about everything can be found at Laura's store and OMG you should see the great stuff she has coming in the next few weeks! Please check out the store here; http://www.lovesrubberstamps.net/

If you are looking for Sparkle N Sprinkle Winter Wonderland Blog Hop please click here; http://stamping4you.blogspot.ca/2012/11/sparkle-n-sprinkle-winter-wonderland.html
Well I'm back with another card for Shelly's images featuring "Noel" on my card. This week's challenge is to use our scraps on your project. I confess I'm a paper hoarder with lots  of scrap paper. Anyways I started off using Always Artichoke for my base which is 5"x 7" finished card size. I used an old Bo Bunny Collection called 'Believe' for the rest. I added 1 layer before using a couple of papers to make a frame which I cut out using Spellbinders ' Large & Small long Classic Rectangles. I printed out Noel onto shimmery white paper and coloured it using Prismacolor pencils. I then added some red stickles to add some bling. Then I added some wooden holly flourishes by Kaisercraft and coloured them with Tim Holtz Distress Stains using Fired Brick, Pine Needles and Tarnished Brass. I added some poinsettia flowers and leaves that I found in my stash. I punched out some pine branches using gold and light gold metallic paper along with some gold flowers.
