I'm back with another Christmas card for Loves Rubberstamps Design Day. This time I decided to make a 6"square card using Chocolate Chip paper for my base. I used Bo Bunny 'Noel' for the rest of my papers. I used the stamp from La Blanche called 'Santa with Holly' and you can see Laura has a few la Blanche stamps here; http://www.lovesrubberstamps.net/category_115/LaBlanche.htm and if you like this particular stamp, Laura would gladly bring this one in. I stamped Santa onto LaBlanche Specialty paper that they use for their stamps and colored Santa using Tim Holtz distress markers. I added some Ranger glitter called 'Stardust' which comes in a really cute container almost like salt & pepper shaker for Santa's beard and hair. I then used Ranger's Perfect Pens to add embossing ink so I could add some clear UTEE over top of the holly leaves, and frame around Santa. I then cut out some holly leaves from Tim Holtz 'Holiday Wreath' die using light green glitter paper. I gave the leaves some dimension by using Tim Holtz Alcohol inks to color the green glitter paper using the following colors, Presto, Meadow, Clover, Bottle and Red Pepper for the berries.
I stamped the Santa's List by Whimsy Stamps and again you can find them here; http://www.lovesrubberstamps.net/category_146/Raindrop-Echo-Designs-Sentiments-Collection.htm
using olive pigment ink and embossed using gold embossing powder. I then colored with Tim Holtz distress markers. I added some gold ribbon and bow from Michael's.
