I'm back with another card for Loves Rubberstamps Design Day. Once again I have another birthday card for my brother who hits the big 40. He is an avid fisherman so I decided to use this image called 'Fishing Friends' by Crissy Armstrong. I started off using dark blue metallic paper which is 5"X 7" finished card size.
I used Basic Grey collection called 'Periphery' for the rest of my papers. I cut out the flourish using the Sizzix die called 'Corner Flourish' and used green paper from the collection. I added green basic pearls to the flourish as shown. I stamped Fishing Friends which you can find here; http://www.lovesrubberstamps.net/category_142/Crissy-Armstrong-Collection.htm
using Memento ink that Laura does carry in here store which you can find here; http://www.lovesrubberstamps.net/item_1088/TUXEDO-BLACK-MEMENTO-INK-PAD-from-Tsukineko.htm I coloured this boy and his dog using Prismacolor pencils. I then cut this out using my Spellbinders 'Lacey Ovals'.
I then stamped the sentiment from the set called Celebration -Mini Tickets by Whimsy Stamps which you can find here; http://www.lovesrubberstamps.net/item_266/CELEBRATION-MINI-TICKETS-Rubber-Stamp-Set-from-the-Whimsy-Stamps-Sentiments-Collection.htm using black pigment ink and embossed using Royal Twinkle by Judi kins. I then punch out green glitter tickets by using Stampin'Up Ticket Duo Builder. I adhere the stamped tickets on top of the green tickets using dimensionals. I added some green/light blue satin ribbon and a bow by May Arts.
Please check out Laura's store because she is having a big special this weekend and you wouldn't want to miss it!!!! http://www.lovesrubberstamps.net
