November Monthly Challenge- Sprinkle N Sparkle

Well I'm back with another card for Sprinkle N Sparkle and this week it's our monthly sketch Challenge using the above picture. I started off using Crumb Cake for my base which is a 5"x 7" finished card size. I used the latest collection called My Mind's Eye 'All is Bright' for the rest of my papers.
1.Layer Red and White paper incrementally. Cut 3 strips of paper 2"x 5" using Red, Blue and Brown paper. Apply using adhesive. Cut out 3 strips of  lattice using Spellbinders 'Fancy Lattice' die in 3 different colours; Crumb Cake, Baja Breeze and Cherry Cobbler. Run thru Xyron machine. Adhere on the 3 strips of coordinating paper.

2. Stamp image (Snowman with Present) using Memento Ink. Colour with Prismacolor pencils.
3. Using a quickie glue pen by Sakura,to adhere different colors of flocking. I used Berry Red flocking for hat, Twinkling Clouds for body and pompom, and Night sky for the boots.
4. Cut out 2 snowflakes using Sizzix Snowflake #1 die using red and blue glitter paper. Attach using Xyron machine. Cut out 2 scallops using Tasteful Trim die using red & blue glitter paper. Adhered all to base.
5. Using blue, white and brown paper, make a rosette using Tim Holtz mini rosette or make your own by scoring every 1/4". Attach as shown.
6. Attach a sticker 'For You' to the centre of the rosette. Attach another sticker 'Rejoice' to a piece of Crumb Cake and cut the ends like a banner.

We even have a new blog so you come and follow us, as we show off each month our card challenges.
