Stamping Dragons Card Challenge - Christmas Theme- Anything but Red & Green

Well I'm back with another card for Stamping Dragon and this week's theme is Christmas but not using the traditional red & green. As you can see I forget to read the challenge so here my card with egg all over my face. We were sponsored by Kenny G so were given an image and I chose the Reindeer.  Which I then colored the Reindeer using Prismacolor pencils and I highlighted some of the areas by adding some gold, green and red glitter. I started off using Cherry Cobbler paper for my base which is 5"x 7" finished card size. I then used Basic Grey 'Wassail' for the rest of my papers. I embossed a piece of paper from the Basic Grey collection using an Sizzix Ornate #2 frame and added some shimmery paint called 'Champagne Mist' which was mixed with red reinker to add some bling to the frame. I then cut out some trees and grass using Tim Holtz Pine tree and Memory box grass die using various papers from the collection. I added some pearl paint from Ranger's paint dauber to look like snow and then painted the trees again using shimmery paint called 'Champagne Mist' which was mixed with green reinker to add some bling to the trees and grass. I added some holly stickers and diecuts from the Tim Holtz 'Holly Branch'die to the bottom of the card. Last of all I add a red satin ribbon and bow to the top of the card.

  3. hahaha! They look like they should be dancing with the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall! Great staging, Jackie. I especially like the reindeers' grins and holly leaves across the front. Wonderful textures, as always.
