Loves Rubberstamps Design Day

It's Saturday with another inspirational post for Loves Rubberstamps. I saw this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3vXVxcwT2o showing how to stamp on glitter paper using very detailed stamps along with detailed embossing powder. So I decided to give it ago. I started off using Black metallic paper for my base which is a 5"x 7" finished card size. I used Graphic 45 Birdsong for the rest of my papers.  So I added Sookwang tape to 3 pieces of paper,  make sure your tape on paper is long enough to fit your stamp. I took off the release paper and added some Glitter Ritz Micro Fine Glitter 'Copper' to the  tape. Then I took my background stamp from JustRite called 'Lace Background' and stamp on top the glitter using Versamark ink and used a detail gold embossing powder. Heat set. You can find the stamp set here in Laura's Store here; http://www.lovesrubberstamps.net/item_1163/LACE-BACKGROUND-Rubber-Stamp-from-JustRite-Papercraft.htm I then used 2 Labels from the companion set from JustRite called 'Lace Medallion Labels'. For the oval label I stamped it onto Peacock Blue glitter paper using gold detail EP and the other square label I stamped on Pink glitter paper. I stamped the center onto Peacock Blue glitter paper. I added some red satin ribbon along with a bow. I added some Asian beads that I found at Michael's. I used a chipboard tag from Graphic 45 Bird Song Collection. I used a sentiment from the same stamp set and stamped onto the copper glitter paper using black detail embossing powder. I added an Asian coin along with a red basic pearls as shown.

  2. Jackie, what an unbelievably gorgeous card! I wondered if we could emboss on microfine glitters, and now you have shown we can - and not just emboss, but using ornate stamp images, too! Beautiful!
