An Inspirational Post for Whimsy Stamps

Wow today is one of the most important days in my Son's life, Cameron is graduating from High School! I'm so so proud of him today! My only small regret that his Dad isn't here to see him graduate! But I know deep down inside of me, Ralph would be one proud Papa! Congratulations Cameron!!! So here is my card, I started off using Early Espresso for my base which is a 5"x 7" finished card size. I then used My Mind's Eye collection called 'The Sweetest Thing' for the rest. The first two layers I used the papers called 'Bluebell -Everyday' and 'Bluebell - Remember' all from My Mind's Eye. I then used 'Honey - Love' for the third layer and for the fourth layer I used 'Honey - Happiness' which I cut out using a Spellbinders die called 'Timeless Rectangle'. I then cut out another frame using Spellbinders Label 29 and used some Japanese paper from my stash. I then took 2 pieces of chipboard from Fab Scraps and painted them using Tim Holtz Distress Stains using the following colors; Picked Raspberry and Seedless Preserves. I then printed out my image from Scrappers Delight Paper Crafts called 'Baby Boo'. I colored them using Prismacolor pencils and added some glitter highlights on their hats, jacket buttons and flowers. I also added some blue Petaloo flowers to the mix.

An Inspirational Post for Whimsy Stamps

Here is another inspirational post for Whimsy Stamps using this adorable little boy fishing by Kathryne Stamp Art Design called 'Charlie'. I started off using Early Espresso for my base which is a 5"x 7" finished card size. I used Basic Grey once again collection called "Granola" for the rest. I added 3 layers before cutting out a frame using dark blue metallic paper and a Marianne Creatable die called 'Anja's Square'. I cut out another frame using the same die but used a smaller die and a lighter blue metallic paper. I added another square from the same die using medium blue metallic paper. I then laid down the boy using pop up dots. I then punch out the sentiment that came as a bonus using a ticket punch and then cut out a mat using EK Success punch called a 'Journaling Punch'. I then sponged Blue Iris and French Blue Fluid Chalk around the edges of the sentiment. I added steel blue glitter tape by American Crafts around the four corners and a couple of rhinestone flourishes along the side by Recollections from Michael's.

Guess What!!! Shelly's Images has a new image to share with you.  I happen to like this new Seahorse digi stamp! I can't wait to use this because I have the perfect papers to go with this adorable image!!
Click here to visit the store link for this digi stamp.

This digi stamp is done in a "pencil" sketch format.  We have tested the digi on multiple printers but we understand that all printers are a little different.  Adjustments can easily be made by emailing Shelly at shelly@shellysimages.com if you find that the digi prints too lightly on your printer.

Darlene was nice enough to make a sample with our newest digi.  I absolutely love, love, love the sentiment she used!  Perfect for this digi stamp.  And aren't those bubbles cute?
We always love to hear from you when you drop in, so be sure to leave a little comment below.  You never know when Shelly might choose a random comment to receive this fun digi stamp.
