Elizabeth Craft Designs June Challenge - To use a Repositional Sticker

I'm back with another project for Elizabeth Craft Designs June Challenge. This month's challenge is to create a project using a repositionable sticker. This could be a home d├ęcor creation, window card, Stand-up Helper card, etc. Watch Els demo how to create a repositional sticker here. I decided to do a chalkboard Grocery list.

Instructions:
1. Took a wooden frame, applied Broken China Distress paint to frame. Let it dry.

2. Can add texture to frame using Light Modeling Paste and stencils before applying color. Used the following colors by Lindy's Stamp Gang and sprayed the frame as shown. Let dry.

3. Add 3 coats of Black Chalkboard paint by Faber Castell to a piece of light chipboard. Let dry in between coats as shown.

4. Take Double-side Adhesive sheets (sku 502) place on Transfer Sheet (sku 600). Remove backing of Double-side Adhesive and place black Ladybug Peel-Offs on adhesive.  Add Warm Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter. Burnish with finger. Color with Tombow Markers.

5. Do this with black butterfly Peel-Off as well.

6. Again do the same technique with the black Hydrangea Peel-Off. Take backing off Transfer Sheet, now you have a repositional sticker. Apply stickers to frame to decorate as shown.Pin It Now!

Summertime in the City!

DSC_0079-1
Hi Everyone, it's Jackie here. For today's card I was inspired by my Lilac trees that are blooming right now with the bold colors of purple, green and the blue sky. I used Karen Burniston's Accordion Fancy Label die and the Butterfly Labels 1 Peel-offs which match perfect.
Instructions:
1. Cut three accordion pages out of black cardstock using the Accordion Fancy Label die.DSC_0075-12. Cut three more accordion pages using the same die out of patterned paper. We're going to use these to create 3 frames and 3 fancy labels. To create the frames, cut out the center label of each page and trim each side of the frame a few inches. (You can cut of the long side tab of the frame. Trim this side a few inches as well). To create the fancy labels, trim the two small side tabs of each label. Now assemble you card as shown in the picture below. For 2 of my fancy labels I used the other side of my patterned paper. For more info on how to assemble the Accordion card, watch Karen Burniston’s video HERE.

3. Now it's time to create the Butterfly Labels. To create the labels, apply two Butterfly Labels 1 Peel-offs onto white cardstock with Double-sided Adhesive on top. Cover peel-offs with Warm Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter and polish glitter with your finger. Use a brush to brush of the excess glitter. I then colored my Butterfly Labels with TomBow Markers as shown in Els's video HERE. Once colored, cut out labels and adhere to first and third page of your Accordion card using foam tape.

IMG_1003-14. Cut sentiment out of BoBunny patterned paper called ‘Enchanted Garden Pixies’ using the second largest die from the Accordion Fancy Label set. Adhere to second page of your Accordion card using foam tape.  DSC_0076-1
5. I decorated the front of my card with scalloped glitter edges. To create the edges, apply Double-sided Adhesive onto white cardstock. Then die cut 4 edges using the scallop edge die included in the Fancy Frame Edges set. Take of the release sheet of the Double-sided Adhesive and apply Lavender and Turquoise Silk Microfine Glitter. Adhere edges as shown in the picture at the beginning.

Hi Everyone, it's Jackie and I decided to do a Father's Day Card which is tomorrow.  I knew I wanted to do this card using the Cars, Planes and Motor Peel-off because my Dad has a 1963 Falcon Convertible that he fully restored. For some reason he never drives this car so I thought this would be a great card to honour his car!

5. Cut out 1 large tag and 3 small tags using Elizabeth Craft Designs dies called 'Tags' using Map paper by Kaisercraft.  Stamp sentiment 'Happy Father's Day'  using black pigment ink and emboss using clear embossing ink onto 3 small tags.  Note: To stamp each individual word on tag, place clear magic tape over word not being stamped, remove tape when stamping.
