Asian Cards meet Tombow XTREME Permanent Adhesive

A couple of months ago I was contacted by Tombow to be a part of Tombow Sticky University and try out their new XTREME Permanent Adhesive by Tombow which is five times stickier than their regular adhesive.! I already used their Tombow markers as well as Tombow Mono Multi liquid glue so I was up for the challenge to see if would hold up.

For the first card I used the XTREME Permanent Adhesive  to hold the all the elements on the card, even the ribbon is held by the Xtreme Permanent adhesive. This ribbon is quite heavy and is holding really well.

For the second card I created this fancy fold card using Xtreme Permanent adhesive to hold all the elements on this card together. Again I used it on the satin red ribbon to see if it would hold, and tried it on the Chipboard pieces as well. Of course it holds it in place, so I'm really impressed with this tape runner to hold heavy elements.

Here is a picture of the inside card.

Elizabeth Craft Designs August Challenge - Asian Theme

I can't believe it's the end of August and school starts on Tuesday. Once again I'm back with another card for this  monthly challenge for Elizabeth Craft Designs. This month's theme is Asian.

Instructions:
1. Create card base from patterned paper. Cut 7" x 8" rectangle; score and fold in half. Place Spiral Circle Pull card on score line and run it through your die cutting machine as shown by Karen Burniston video here. Cut out Spiral separately using the spiral die along with the circle die using blue paper.
2. Place Washi tape along the top and bottom of card. Place right side of paper in Embossing Folder called 'Bamboo' and run it thru. Sponge on Peeled Paint to highlight the embossed area.
3. Take a piece of Blue Iridescent Shimmer Sheetz and run it thru an Embossing Folder called 'Swirly Curve'. Then place Blue Iridescent Shimmer Sheetz onto a piece of Double-side Adhesive which is backed onto a piece of white paper. Take brayer and burnish well as shown by Els Van de Burgt in this video. Pull off the Shimmer Sheetz at which some will adhere to the double sided Adhesive and add Turquoise Silk Microfine Glitter which will cover the adhesive.

 4. Place Black Kimono, Black Fan and Black Asian Sign Peel-Offs on the Blue Iridescent Shimmer Sheetz background. Add Transparent Gold Glitter Dots on the Kimono as shown. Place sentiment and fan on inside circle using pop up dots as shown.

5. Add Black Asian Signs to the Spiral as shown. Add Blue Candi Brads to the tabs which were cut initially as shown .
6. Cut out blue Hambly Screenprints using the large circle die from the Spiral Circle Pull Card, add a couple of stickers and a chipboard piece from Bo Bunny Collection called 'Serenity', adhere using pop up dots as shown. Add Asian coin along with blue ribbon bow and adhere using Quick Dry Adhesive glue on top of sticker.
