Loves Rubberstamps Card Challenge - Masculine
Well I'm back with another card for Loves Rubberstamps Card Challenge; this week's theme is Masculine which is just in time for Father's Day. My dad loves to go fishing with my brother and they catch the most expensive fish (so my Mother says because they have every fishing equipment known to mankind). So Dad, this card is for you! I started off with a finished card size of 5"x 7" using bronze metallic paper for the base. I used Bo Bunny's Weekend Market collection for the rest of my papers. I used Weekend Market 'Tapestry' for both layers by using light brown for the first and the blue side for the second. I cut out a label by using Spellbinder's 'Label 20' using 'Around the Market' by Bo Bunny and Magenta 'mesh' paper that I had in my stash. I stamped out the fish, the hat, fishing lures and the bag twice using the stamp set called "Catch All" by Flourishes using Black Tuxedo Memento ink by Tuskineko. I popped these images using pop up dots. I then colored the images using Prismacolor pencils and odourless turpentine. I cut up some cheesecloth and sprayed one of them using the following Starburt Stains by Lindy's Stamp Gang called Afternoon Delight Denim and Dark Chocolate Truffle. I laid down the white cheesecloth and then laid over top with the darker one. I added some knots to the cheesecloth by using some twine. I stamped sentiment from the same stamp and sponged the following colors; Prussian Blue and Chestnut Roan Fluid Chalk. I then went over with Molasses and Azure Smooch ink by Clearsnap. I then cut it out using Spellbinder's Fancy Tags 3. I added 2 blue candi brads on the ends and a rhinestone flourish at the bottom.

Loves Rubberstamps Design Team Day
Welcome to my Design Team Day! I love my Saturdays especially in the morning when my son isn't up yet and I can play in my craft room! So here is my card, it's called a torned window frame and I found the idea on someones blog but I can't remember who it was. Basically you need a square card any size will do. The smaller the square the smaller the window. I started off with a 6"x 6" square card using bronze metallic paper as my base. Then I used the SEI collection called 'Moravia' for the rest of my papers. The first layer I used the paper called 'Destina' (5 3/4" square) and the second layer
I used 'Lisen' (5 1/2"square). To make the frame I used the following papers 'Bavory' (5 1/4" square) and
'Tisnov' (5" square). I took an exacto knife and made a diagonal slit, then gently pulling the paper towards you leaving a 3/4" space between the 2 diagonal corners. You DO NOT want to go all the way to the corners. Then do exactly same with the other diagonal corner by starting in the middle going to one corner then the other. You will end up 4 torn triangles. Place the smaller paper Tisnov on top of the Bavory and depending on which paper I wanted to show thru, I put the good side down. Here I put the fuzzy side down and adhered the blue flower side down on top. I gently curled the edges of both paper using a pencil and then adhered the paper with a brad this will go thru all the layers of paper. Place picture / sentiment before attaching the brads. I cut a small piece of blue paper to fit inside of the frame so my picture would stand out. I stamped the Gerber daisies and Butterflies from the set called 'Gerber Daisies' by Flourishes using Black Tuxedo Memento ink and the color the daisy by using Dewalt Intense Watercolor pencil crayons.I cut them out leaving a little halo and place them inside the frame using pop up dots. I cut out 2 small flourishes and 2 large flourishes using Spellbinder dies called 'Parisian Motifs & Accents' and 'Posy Petal' by Heartfelt Creations a die made exclusively for them using copper & blue metallic paper. I added some blue velvet ribbon by Michael's and some blue/copper iridescent ribbon by May Arts. I stamped the sentiment from the set called "Orchids" by Flourishes using black crafters ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.I used some I am Roses and sprayed them with Lindy's Stamp Gang Moon Shadow spray called Incandescent Copper and Starburst stain called Afternoon Delight Denim. I added orange flowers by Prima Marketing.

CHF- Card Challenge is Just For Baby
Well I'm back with another card challenge for Cornish Heritage Farms. This week's challenge host is
Barbara Bruder who asks that we make a card Just For Baby. So here is my card for the challenge.
My finished card size is 5"x 7" using Early Espresso for the base. I used the papers from Graphic 45 called 'Little Darlings' which I love; for the rest of the card. For the first layer I cut 1/3 of 'Little Treasures' and 2/3 of 'Heaven Sent'. I punched a scallop edge using Early Espresso paper and laid over top a piece 'Bundle of Joy' using an eyelet punch. I printed out the digital image called 'Baby Basket' onto shimmery white paper. I colored him using reinkers in the following colors; Calypso Coral, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Marina Mist classic inkpads by Stampin'Up. The ribbon on the basket was colored by Prismacolor pencils. I cut the baby basket out by leaving a little halo. I layered the image onto pink scallop rectangle cut out by Spellbinders 'Scalloped Rectangle' then onto a striped blue paper using the same die. Finally layering it onto a brown rectangle cut out using Spellbinders 'Lattice Rectangle'. I added basic pearls where shown, as well as a layered bow using 5/8th Chocolate Chip Grosgrain ribbon by Stampin'Up. I added a tag from Graphic 45 Little Darlings Chipboard tag 2 with some Organdy Calypso Coral ribbon.

DDC #13 - "Let's Celebrate!" & A DT Call
Now onto this weeks challenge!! "Let's Celebrate" (Any celebration) We are being sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps this week, so you can use either a Digi Darla Design OR a Bugaboo Stamps image! I decide to put my hat into Digi Darla's call for Design Team members. So here is my card which is supposedly celebrating Easter with this lovely image from Digi Darla's called 'Thankful Easter Bunny". I started off with a 5"x 7" finished card size using bronze metallic paper as the base. Then I used 'Sweet Nothings' Collection by Kaisercraft for the rest of the papers. The first layer I used Sweet Nothings 'Devoted' and then used Sweet Nothings 'Cupid's Arrow' for the second layer. The final layer I used Sweet Nothings 'Silver Lining' and then ran it thru the embossing folder called 'Square Lattice' by Stampin'Up. I then used Prussian Blue and Rose Coral Fluid Chalk by Clearsnap to highlight the embossed areas. I printed out the image using shimmery white paper and colored him using Prismacolor pencils. I applied liquid applique to his tail and when it was still wet I added Dazzling Diamonds by Stampin'Up. I let this dry overnight or you can heat set it if you are in a hurry. I cut him out leaving a little halo. I then punch out eyelet border using bronze metallic paper and used a Stampin'Up eyelet punch. Then I used a blue lace border sticker from the same collection over top of the eyelet border. I attached it to the base by using pop up dots. I added some May Arts pink ribbon roses on top. I then cut out the flowers and leaves from the same 12 X 12 stickers and 1 rose from the paper collection. I added dimension by using the smaller flower and adding on top of the bigger flower. Using my 2 way glue pen I added glue and used Donna Salazar's Mixed Berries Fairy Dust by Clearsnap to the leaves.
