Some More Exciting News!!!!

Have some more exciting news... I was asked to be a member of Shelly's Images Design Team. She has these awesome vintage images which have a lot great detail. She sent me this image for me to design with for the Design Team Call. So here is my card that I sent her. I started off using Early Espresso paper for my base which is a finished 5"x 7" card size. I used Bo Bunny's collection called 'Noel' for the next 2 layers and then added a piece of gold paper. I ran the gold paper thru the new Spellbinders M-Bossabilities folder called 'Holiday Magic' using side "A". Before applying the 3 layers of paper on to the base. I added some off-white lace and then laid on top of it some Prima Marketing 'Saying it in Crystals' in yellow. I printed the image using shimmery white paper and colored the image using Prismacolor pencils. I cut out some extra pine boughs using Spellbinders 'Fall Foliage' using various green paper from Bo Bunny. I added some Green Apple & Kiwi Smooch ink on the branches that I cut out. Then placed some red candi brads along the pine boughs and added some red dazzling details by Stampin'Up on the red brads and the ribbon.

Congratulations to the other 3 new DT members that will be joining me on Shelly's Images Design Team . I'm very excited to be working with these talented ladies and I can't wait to see their projects featured here.

Loves Rubberstamps - Design Day

It's Saturday, and here is my card depicting my week. It's the end of week 1 for school and my son who is in Grade 12, comes home with 3 spares this semester and 4 next.  I told him he better find so more courses so he signed up pottery for this semester. Anyways my card is a 6"x 6" square card using peach Bazzil paper for the base. I finally used my Graphic 45 'Lady's Diary' for the rest of my papers. I stamped the lady from the set called 'Asleep on the Job' by Art Impressions. I colored her using Prismacolor pencils and cut her out using Spellbinders 'Label 2" die. I then cut out another label using Spellbinders 'Lace Motiffs' using peach metallic paper. I added 4 photo corners using Cherry Lynn die called 'Lace Corner Deco E' using blue paper from the collection. I added large basic pearls in each corner by Stampin'Up. I stamped the sentiment from 'Asleep on the Job', using white pigment ink and embossed using detail black embossing powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders 'Ribbon Tags Trio Two' and wrapped some peach ribbon thru it and then add a bow on the side.

Loves Rubberstamps - Design Day

It's the long weekend before my son finishes off his last year of high school starting on Tuesday. So here is my card which I almost forgot to post because I'm cleaning out my craft room.
It's a fairly simple card for me because the inspiration wasn't coming to me. Anyways I stamped the angel from the set called "Peace on Earth" by Crissy Armstrong for Whimsy Stamps using memento ink onto shimmery white paper and colored her using Prismacolor pencils. I added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the wings using a 2 way glue pen.
I started off using Always Artichoke for the base which is a 5"x 7" finished card size. I used Sharon Ann's Christmas Magic Collection by The Little Yellow Bicycle for the rest of my papers. I also used the Clear Cuts frames & titles - glitter "Hanging Ornaments" from the same collection by cutting out the 2 sides instead of 4 sides. I used the Red Foiled Thickers Flourishes by American Crafts for the top. I used the journaling tags from the same collection and added some red pearls for accents.
