Whimsy Stamps Card Challenge - Fancy Edges

Well I'm back with another card for Whimsy Stamps Card Challenge and this month's theme is Fancy Edges. So I decided to do an easel card using one of my Spellbinders die called "Grand Label 23" for the fancy edges. I used Regal Rose for my base which I used a 12"x 12" piece of paper and cut it down to 6"square. Then I cut it out using the Grand Labels 23. I then used a 6" heart doily and sprayed it using Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst Spray called Ice Alpine Rose. I then used Carta Bella collection called 'Devoted' for the rest. I added 2 more layers before cutting out 2 hearts using red & pink glitter paper. I used Cheery Lynn die called 'Heart to Heart Doily' for the pink heart and a Spellbinders Classic Scallop Heart die for the red heart. I used the really cute image from Kathryn Stamp Art Design called 'Matt & Kristi' and colored them using Prismacolor Pencils. I added some pink glitter for the heart. I add some sticker hearts around the image from the same collection. I cut out a pink flourish using pink glitter paper and Tim Holtz die called 'Elegant Flourishes'. For the bottom I add 1 more layer of paper before cutting out a label using Marianne Creatables called 'Anja Large Oval'. I then cut out 2 pink hearts using a smaller heart die by Spellbinders. I add a Decorative Lattice Swirl by Heartfelt Creations made exclusively by Spellbinders using red glitter paper. I then printed out the sentiment by Crissy Armstrong and punched it out using a punch.

Loves Rubberstamps Card Challenge -"Cute as a Button"

Okay this what happens when you published the project too quickly the night before it's supposed to go live. I thought I copied it and deleted the original post and had this one scheduled. But in turn I deleted both posts. So here it is for the third time. I'm back with another card for Loves Rubberstamps and this week's theme is to Use a Button on your project, A real one or handmade. Our special sponsor this week is the Paper Shelter. So I started off using Pretty in Pink for my base which is a 5"x 7" finished card size. I used Carta Bella collection called 'Devoted' for the rest. Laura does carry some Carta Bella which you can find in the store here: http://www.lovesrubberstamps.net/catalog.htm

I added 4 layers to my card and then I cut out 2 hearts using pink & red glitter paper using Heartfelt Creations die called 'Timeless Amour' that is made exclusively by Spellbinders. I received this beautiful image from The Paper Shelter called 'Open Kisses' and colored it using Prismacolor pencils. I added some pink glitter buttons that I had in my stash along with a pink/red satin bow by May Arts. I added some stickers from the collection as well.

Loves Rubberstamps Design Day

It's Saturday and I'm back to show off another card for Loves Rubberstamps Inspirational post. I started off using Early Espresso for my base which is a 5"x 7" finished card size. For the rest of my papers I'm using the newest collection by Kaisercraft called 'Botanical Odyssey'. I used 2 layers before adding 2 more layers which I made a frame by cutting them out using Spellbinders dies called 'Fleur de Lis Square' and the 'Classic Square' for the window. I cut out a scallop square using blue/copper paper and the Spellbinders die called 'Classic Scallop Square' for the inside of window. I stamped the image using black crafter's ink from the set called 'Butterflies & Blossom' by Flourishes. I cut it out using scissors and popped it up using pop up dots. I cut 2 flourishes using Cheery Lynn dies called 'Fanciful Flourishes' using pink glitter paper. I added some green satin ribbon along with a bow by May Arts as shown. I added some purple flowers by Recollection and purple rose by Prima Marketing. I added a butterfly sticker as shown plus a sentiment sticker from the same collection and popped it up onto another sticker. I added a string of  basic pearls on the stickers.

Another Peak for Whimsy Stamps

Well it's that time again, Whimsy Digital Stamps has release some awesome digital stamps and here is another new releases by Marika Collins Collection called "Danii". I started off using red metallic paper for my base which is a 5"x 7" finished card size. I used Carta Bella 'Devoted' for the rest. For the 1st  layer I used Devoted Hearts for one half and the other half I used I Love You This Much. On top of this I again used 2 pieces of paper; Cupids Arrow & Words of love. Then I laid down a stripe of paper 'So Loved Stripe' and then laid down vintage lace along with using the same red/pink ribbon just using the 2 different sides by May Arts. I then took a paper heart doily and sprayed using Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst spray in the following colors; Ramblin Rose Pink and Open Arms Amethyst. I then cut out a heart and decorative lattice swirl using a Heartfelt Creation die from 'Timeless Amour' collection who are a  Spellbinders Preferred Partners using some pink paper in my stash. I printed out 'Danii' using shimmery white paper and colored her using Prismacolor pencils. I used Cherry Sparkle for the heart and Twinkling Clouds on her boots which are sold by Sparkle N Sprinkle. As for the sentiment I used red and pink glitter by In The Making Enterprises. I used the Tim Holtz stripe die called 'Stacked Words- Valentines' using 'So Loved Stripe' paper and the words 'Hugs & Kisses . Then ran it thru the Xyron machine to place the adhesive on the top then sprinkled  red & pink glitter on top. I added 2 tickets from Pink Paislee collection called 'Secret Crush'.

Loves Rubberstamps Card Challenge - Use of Dies and/or Punches

Well I'm back with another card for Loves Rubberstamps Card Challenge and this week's theme is the Use of Dies and/or Punches on your project. We have a special sponsor this week which is QKR Sampede. I started off using red metallic paper for my base which is a 5"x 7" finished card size. I used the latest Carta Bella paper called 'Devoted' for the rest of my papers. I then took a paper heart doily and sprayed it using Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst sprays in the following colors Ramblin Rose Pink and Open Arms Amethyst. I then cut out a heart and decorative lattice swirl using a Heartfelt Creation die from 'Timeless Amour' collection who are a  Spellbinders Preferred Partners using 'Words of Love' & 'So Loved Stripe' paper by Carta Bella. Laura does carry Carta Bella paper here; http://www.lovesrubberstamps.net/category_323/Carta-Bella.htm  I adhere the heart onto the heart doily and put the lattice swirl in the right hand corner.  I also cut out a flourishes using another Spellbinders die called 'Fantastic Flourish Two' using light purple glitter paper. I used a tag from Pink Paislee collection called 'Secret Crush' which I then mounted on red metallic paper. I stamped the bouquet fromt the set by Flourishes called 'Love Sweet Love' using black crafter's ink. I added some buttons from my stash along with a pretty bow using  red/pink satin ribbon by May Arts.

Loves Rubberstamps Design Day

I'm back with another inspirational post for Loves Rubberstamps and now I showcasing some Valentine cards. I started off using Pretty in Pink paper for my base which is a 5"x 7" finished card size. I recently bought some cute Valentine's paper by Carta Bella collection called 'Devoted' for the rest. You can find Carta Bella products in the store here; http://www.lovesrubberstamps.net/item_1223/ALL-HALLOWS-EVE-Paper-Pack-6x6-by-Carina-Gardner-from-Carta-Bella.htm I added a stripe paper for the first layer. With the 2nd layer I used red metallic paper along with Cupid paper which adhered to the stripe paper on a slant. I then add a piece of pink glitter flourish paper on top. I cut out a heart using Cheery Lynn die called 'Heart Doily' using red metallic paper. I then cut out another heart using a Spellbinders die called 'Nested Hearts' using 'Words of Love' paper. I added another heart lattice swirl by Heartfelt Creations 'Timeless Armour' exclusive die by Spellbinders again using red metallic paper. I also added  some transparent glitter called 'Hot Lips' to the swirl using a glue pen. I cut 2 hearts from the same collection that fit in the heart shape using the same paper. One die just cuts the lattice so I adhere double sided tape and sprinkled the 'Hot Lips' glitter on top. I stamped the young girl called 'Kaydance' by Elisabeth Bell for Whimsy Stamps using black memento ink and coloured her using Prismacolor pencils. You find the stamps and Memento ink which Laura carries here; http://www.lovesrubberstamps.net I used the same glitter to the hearts on her boots, her bandana, the dog and gold glitter to the violets. I added some pink/red satin ribbon along with bow using May Arts ribbon. I added a blue vintage flowers adornments by Stampin'Up to the bow. I used a pennant sticker from the same collection as shown and stapled 2 tickets from the Pink Paislee collection called 'Secret Crush' as shown.

Whimsy Stamps New Digital Release

Well it's that time again, Whimsy Digital Stamps has release some awesome digital stamps and here is one of new releases by Dana's Digi's.  I started off using Night of Navy paper for my base which is a 5"x 7" finished card size. I then use Anna Griffin paper for the rest. I colored the Chickadee using Prismacolor pencils and then I used this blue frame sticker by Magenta. I took some Champagne Mist Shimmery paint and added a drop of Night of Navy reinker and painted the frame to add some bling.
I then cut out some corners using gold glossy metallic paper and cut them out using Marianne Designs 'Anja Large Corner'.  I added some blue/gold ribbon in each of the 4 corners along with a bow in the middle of the card.
