Cornish Heritage Farms - Twine on Your Card CHF10

I'm back with another card for Cornish Heritage Farms and this week's host is Holly Brown and she asked us to use twine on our cards. So here is my card, I started off using dark blue metallic paper for my base which is 5"x 7". For the rest of my papers, I used S.E.I collection called Moravia. For the third layer I used the paper Sandalwood and ran  it thru Spellbinders M-Bossabilities folder called 'Framed Labels One' and then used Pumpkin Spice and Blue Iris to highlight the embossed areas. Then I used the Spellbinders 'Label One' to cut out 3 frames that fit inside the embossed label. I used the sentiment from the Ornamental Beauty LL-6018 using black crafter's ink and embossed using deep blue EP by Clearsnap. I coloured the flowers in the sentiment using Pumpkin Smooch ink and outlined the edge as well. I printed the Corner Lilies twice onto shimmery white paper and colored them using Prismacolor pencils. I added large basic pearls on the lilies. I added some twine and tried to remember how to make macrame square knots and added some flowers /leaves by Prima Marketing.

  1. Jackie, another GORGEOUS card - love all the deep hues, with the touch of white popping through, and the green contrasting with all the other rich colors. Your macrame piece looks perfect there! What dexterity in your fingers to create such tiny, intricate knots. Very pretty!
