Here's a Christmas card that I sent to someone special. It's a 6"X 6" card. The base is 130 lb white cardstock with metallic blue paper that I ran thru using a snowflake embossing folder. The yellow metallic paper is cut and embossed using the Spellbinder's Poinsettia grand die and layered on the blue paper. The frame is stamped and embossed using Ranger's Roman Gold EP. The larger Poinsettia and individual petals are stamped using Top Boss embossing ink and embossed using Ranger's Queen Gold EP. The flowers are painted using Stampin'Up Champagne Mist shimmery paint even the poinsettia die was done. For the flower centers I used basic pearls and for the larger poinsettia I used Zip dry glue and sprinkle gold glitter. I stamped saying (from Festive Frame set) in Top Boss and embossed with Queen Gold EP by Ranger and cut and embossed using the Labels Four from Spellbinders. I outlined the embossed edge using Ocean Smooch accent ink.

Christmas Card
Here is another Christmas card I did. I found this on Kimberly Van Diepen blog http://stampinbythesea.com/ I change it a little bit but I love how she used Serene Snowflakes and the little Dasher stamp on Crumb Cake cardstock. I used Soft Suede as my base then I used Crumb Cake. I stamped Serene Snowflakes using Frost White Shimmer paint onto my stamps then stamped Soft Suede ink in between the white snowflakes. Took a smaller piece of Crumb Cake stamped Serene Snowflakes as above then stamped Dasher using Soft Suede ink attached him to Early Espresso cardstock. Curled up the two corners. Laid down a piece of sticky tape and used Soft Suede polka dot grograin ribbon (that has retired) and pleated along the bottom. Attached neutral designer buttons with a couple of brads from the neutral collection on top. All supplies by Stampin'Up

Merry Christmas card
I'm way behind getting my Christmas cards out. Here is one of my simpler cards that I have done. I started out with Soft Suede cardstock then took Brushed Gold and ran it thru embossing folder Vintage Wallpaper. Then I stamped "Merry Christmas" in black pigment ink and embossed with black embossing powder. Then I punch it out using the oval punch and punch out a scalloped oval in Early Espresso. Layered the gold on top the early espresso paper. I used the stamp called "Elizabeth" using Soft Suede dye ink onto brushed gold cardstock and colored with Soft Suede marker and using Early Espresso marker to shade. I ran another piece of Soft Suede cardstock thru the embossing folder Vintage Wallpaper then applied Champagne Mist on top of that to highlight the embossed folder. Wrapped a piece of Kraft taffeta ribbon (that retired) and made a bow. Layered this onto Early Espresso. Supplies all Stampin'up.

Winter White Challenge by Flourishes
Once again Flourishes has a challenge which as the winter snow continues to fly, let’s wash our cards and creations with white! Show off a little pop of color, but make sure the overall feeling is white! Here is my card I used white metallic cardstock then layered with baby blue metallic paper then used light yellow metallic paper cut it out using Spellbinder's Poinsettia Frame S5-018 and embossed the frame. I adhered it to the baby blue paper using foam tape to raise it. Then I cut out leaving a blue halo where the blue ribbon was being threaded thru to the top and tied into a bow. To make the yellow frame fit inside and to show some of the blue I trimmed off the embossed line that is left after you emboss it thru your die cut machine.
I stamped "Merry Christmas" from the set Santa, I Believe using black Crafter's ink and embossed it using Ranger's Gold Tinsel embossing powder. The Poinsettia is stamped using White Crafter's ink on Shimmery paper and embossed using the same embossing powder. Some of the leaves were cut so that you could pop them up. The extra petals that come with the set were embossed 3 times each. The image was pop up using Stampin'Up dimensionals. The petals were painted with Stampin'Up frosted white shimmer paint to make stand out. Then I added 6 basic pearls from Stampin'Up!

Another Card Challenge for Verve Stamps
Here is another card challenge I did. This one is for Verve Stamps. Every week for the month of November they had a card sketch. At the end if your name was picked you won January new sets that are being released. This is week #1. I started off with Blue Metallic paper from Michael's, layered with Basic Grey 'Figgy Pudding'. Using a fern stamp from the set "Forever in our Hearts" and using blue ink from Clearsnap. I stamped 2 or 3 times without reinking my stamp leaving a graduation of color. Taking a darker blue I stamped some darker images and then inked my edges. I cut out rectangle piece of cardstock from the same 'Figgy Pudding' and did the same. Stamped an ornament using the same paper from the set "Ornamental Christmas" ran it thru an embossing folder called Square Lattice from Stampin'Up. Took my blue inks and inked the raised portions of the embossing folder. Stamp the saying from the same set using Black Crafters ink from Clearsnap and embossed it using Black embossing powder. Punched it out using Marvy uchida scalloped punch again inked the edges. Used Magenta silver peel offs for the cording and retired silver ribbon from Stampin'Up.
