To use embedded embossing, you punch out shapes or cut layers or strips out and then adhere them to your card base piece. Once adhered, place the entire layer in an embossing folder of your choice and emboss both the punched out shapes/layers/strips and the base piece all together. The result looks like seamless embossing … you have just embedded your shapes/layers to the card base. Here is my take on that great technique. I used Early Espresso as my base then took a piece of the new BoBunny 'Gabrielle' collection for my second layer. Then took peach color from the same collection and ran it thru the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. Using Chestnut Roan Fluid Chalk ran it over to highlight the embossed image. Punch out different butterflies using a butterfly punch using different blue papers by Magenta. Cut out another butterfly using blue metallic paper and Bosscut Butterfly diecut. Attach all these cutouts onto blue paper from the Gabrielle collection. I then ran it thru the Square Lattice Embossing Folder by Stampin'Up. I stamped the butterfly from the ODBD Butterfly Single onto colored background that I had made using Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. I cut it out leaving a little halo. I stamped the saying from the ODBD "Eternity" using Black Versafine inkpad. Cut it out using the Spellbinders "Fancy Tag #3. Sponge the edges using Aquamarine, Chestnut Roan Fluid Chalks.
