Well I'm back with another card for Stamping with the Dragons and this week's Challenge is to use 1 color only! So here my card, I love the color blue so that is my 1 and only color that I used. I started off using dark blue metallic paper for my base which is a 5"x 7" finished card size. I then used various blue color paper that I had in my stash. I added 4 layers before cutting out the 5th layer using my newest die from Marianne Creatable called 'Petra's Bridge' using a blue paper. I then used some Elizabeth Craft designs Shimmer Sheetz called 'Blue Iris' which I then ran it thru a Sizzix embossing folder called 'Winter Words'. I then took some Viva Decor Inka Gold metallic paste called 'Cobalt Blue' to go over the raised areas to see if it worked on Shimmer Sheetz. I then ran my Stazon ink in Ultramarine color over top of the raised areas to give it more definition. I printed the image 'Bauble- Christmas Pup' and you can find it in the store here; http://dragonslairdesigns.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=403_409&products_id=3222
I colored the pup using my Prismacolor pencils and then decided the bauble needed some bling so out came the glitter. I added some blue ribbon for the bauble and some blue glitter tape for the bottom of the card. I added some flowers on the bottom of the die, there is suppose to be 5 but 2 fell off when I was taking the picture.
