Loves Rubberstamps Design Day
It's Saturday, I'm back with another inspirational post for Loves Rubberstamps. I had the greatest opportunity last April, to travel to Paris. It was a real quick trip I was gone only 8 days. It was a school trip, in which my son went with me, so it was jammed packed 5 days in Paris and 3 days in London, England. So I thought this card would bring back some fond memories of my trip. So I'm using Travel Marci by La-La Land Crafts and their Eiffel Tower steel die which I needed to buy! Anyways I started off using Chocolate Chip for my base which is a 5"x 7" finished card size. I used Pink Paislee collection called 'London Market' for the rest. I added three layers and then cut out the fourth layer using Spellbinders 'Label 23'. I added a transparency from the same collection that I laid on top of the 4th layer. I added a postage stamp along with a picture of the Eiffel Tower which I cut out using postage scissors all from the 'Ephemera' collection by Pink Paislee. I cut out the Eiffel Tower using La-La Land Crafts steel die which Laura has brought into the store here; http://www.lovesrubberstamps.net/item_1732/EIFFEL-TOWER-DIE-from-La-La-Land-Crafts.htm using brown music paper from the same collection. I then added some double sided tape to the back of the die so I could add some glitter. I used Yellow and Seabreeze glitter to stimulate the Eiffel tower at night with all the lights. I stamped Travel Marci using black memento ink and coloured her using Prismacolor Pencils and Copic markers for the skin. Her skin looks like she got sunburned but I can assure you she's not. You can find some of the La-La land Crafts stamp sets here; http://www.lovesrubberstamps.net/category_317/La-La-Land-Crafts.htm
I stamped 'Life is a Journey' and the passport from the same stamp set using Coffee Bean Vivid ink pad. I added some 3-D stickers by Paper House that I found at Michael's.

Loves Rubberstamps Card Challenge - Have a Heart
It's another card for Loves Rubberstamps and this week's theme is Have a Heart - use a heart somewhere on your project. We have a fabulous sponsor this week - Kenny K. So I picked Sexy Cupid and I colored her using Prismacolor pencils. I added Shaved Ice by Stampendous to her wings. So I started off using Crumb Cake for my base which is a 5"x 7" finished card size. I then used Basic Grey newest collection called "True Love" for the rest. I added 4 layers to my card and then laid down some heart sticker from the same collection along the bottom of my card. I then used a paper heart doily and sprayed it using Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst spray in the following colour; Ramblin' Rose Pink. I then cut out a scallop heart using red glitter paper and a Spellbinders die called 'Classic Scallop Heart'. On top this I used a sticker from the same collection. I then cut out another set of hearts from the Memory Box die called 'Heart Ensemble' using red and pink glitter paper. I cut it out twice, once with red glitter and pink glitter paper. This die cuts out a frame along with pieces that pop out. So then I just replaced the pieces with different colors as shown. I added another sticker that says 'Be Mine' from the Basic Grey. I then place the Sexy Cupid image between the 2 sets of hearts using pop up dots. I added ribbon along with a bow, flowers along with a bottle cap with a heart from Basic Grey. You find some of the Kenny K stamps that Laura carries in the store here; http://www.lovesrubberstamps.net/category_143/KennyK-Collection-.htm

Another Whimsy Creation
I'm back with another inspirational card for Whimsy Stamps. This week I used this lovely image called "Elfie" by Marika Collins Collection. I colored her using Prismacolor pencils. I started off using Chocolate Chip paper for my base which is a 5"x 7" finished card size. I then used Basic Grey newest collection called 'True Love' for the rest. I added 2 layers before I cut out the third layer called 'Smitten' using the image on the paper and popped this up by using pop dots. Then I cut out a label using a Memory Box Die called 'Cherise Label' using white glitter paper. I sponged the edges using Pink Vivid ink pad. I then cut out some scrolls using another Memory Box die called 'Chesapeake Scrollwork' using pink glitter paper. I attached these around the white label. I used the newest die from Memory Box dies called 'Heart Ensemble' and cut it out twice, once with red glitter and pink glitter paper. This die cuts out a frame along with pieces that pop out. So then I just replaced the pieces with different colors as shown. I then attached Elfie using pop up dots to the white glittered label. I added some pennants using the Basic Grey Stickers and attached them with pink and blue brads.

Loves Rubberstamps Card Challenge - Inspiration Challenge
This week's challenge at Loves Rubberstamps is to be inspired by a product found on this website: www.kirklands.com - be sure to share the product that you were inspired by. This was this photo on the front page, of course it's no longer there. I was inspired by the textures of this bed which had different colors of pillows shown by this picture. It showed blues and browns for the color palette. There was one pillow that was blue and had these fluffy roses all over it but I can't find the photo. This week's Sponsor is Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps.
Anyways I started off using Early Espresso paper for my base which is a 5"x 7" finished card size. The first layer I used a stripe paper from Bo Bunny collection called 'Welcome Home' and for the second layer I used blue/brown paper from the Kaisercraft collection called 'Botanical Odyssey'. So I took a piece of brown linen paper and ran it thru a Stampin'Up embossing folder called 'Fancy Fan'. I then took some shimmery paint and a Early Espresso reinker and painted over the embossed paper. I stamped the Golden Retriever by Impression Obsession using black memento ink. You can find both of these items in Laura's Store here; http://www.lovesrubberstamps.net
I colored the dog using Prismacolor pencils and cut him out using scissors. I then took some white flower ribbon from Michael's and colored them using Baja Breeze reinker and some water to dye them blue. When they were dried, I then took a Baja Breeze marker added some darker highlights. I cut out some dog bones from a paper that I had in my stash. I added some dog sentiment rub ons onto the bones and then highlighted them using some epoxy stickers shape like a bones.

Loves Rubberstamps Design Day
If you are looking for Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog hop, click here; http://stamping4you.blogspot.ca/2013/01/sns-fancy-folds-blog-hop.htm
It's Saturday with another inspirational post for Loves Rubberstamps. I saw this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3vXVxcwT2o showing how to stamp on glitter paper using very detailed stamps along with detailed embossing powder. So I decided to give it ago. I started off using Black metallic paper for my base which is a 5"x 7" finished card size. I used Graphic 45 Birdsong for the rest of my papers. So I added Sookwang tape to 3 pieces of paper, make sure your tape on paper is long enough to fit your stamp. I took off the release paper and added some Glitter Ritz Micro Fine Glitter 'Copper' to the tape. Then I took my background stamp from JustRite called 'Lace Background' and stamp on top the glitter using Versamark ink and used a detail gold embossing powder. Heat set. You can find the stamp set here in Laura's Store here; http://www.lovesrubberstamps.net/item_1163/LACE-BACKGROUND-Rubber-Stamp-from-JustRite-Papercraft.htm I then used 2 Labels from the companion set from JustRite called 'Lace Medallion Labels'. For the oval label I stamped it onto Peacock Blue glitter paper using gold detail EP and the other square label I stamped on Pink glitter paper. I stamped the center onto Peacock Blue glitter paper. I added some red satin ribbon along with a bow. I added some Asian beads that I found at Michael's. I used a chipboard tag from Graphic 45 Bird Song Collection. I used a sentiment from the same stamp set and stamped onto the copper glitter paper using black detail embossing powder. I added an Asian coin along with a red basic pearls as shown.
