This card is entered in JustRite Friday Challenge 046: Technique - Scoring! I'm using the technique called "Venetian Blind" from the Technique Junkies Newsletter online bonus Aug/Sept '06 which I subscribe to. Click here Technique Junkie Newsletter to join .
Card measures 5" X 7", the base card is Pretty in Pink cardstock layered with 2 different pieces of paper from a 6" X 6" pad called 'Sultry' from Basic Grey. Then a cut a piece of Melon Mambo and add my card to this. When you pull the blinds up my sentiment is from the set "Classic Circle Stamp 2" stamped in black pigment ink and embossed using clear embossing powder. I colored the beads using Copic Marker RV19 and the Adornment using Copic marker YG05. I also colored the white flower with the same previous marker and spritz Vanilla Shimmer over top. Colored 1 white flower with Smooch Spritz 'Pink Sprinkles'.
The little sentiment is from the "Tiny Word" set from JustRite and it is stamped in Razzleberry pigment ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. Then I applied Spring Green dye ink over top. Punched out a piece of pink paper using 1 1/4" circle and attached to another punch out journal tag from EK Success using a piece of the 'Sultry' paper.
