- Keep it simple with out any or very few embellishments
- Easter Card
Here is my card which I hope is quite simple. I used Brushed Gold paper as a base then used Shimmery White paper which I ran thru the Cuttlebug folder called houndstooth. I applied Champagne Gold paint over the background. Then I cut out 3 sizes of Nested Eggs from Spellbinders using Brushed Gold cardstock and the Shimmery White cardstock as shown. I cut the 3 different eggs in three, ran it thru 3 different Cuttlebug folders; Swiss Dots, Swirled and Houndstooth again using gold and white paper. Applied the shimmery paint to each egg. Applied gold netting from Maya Arts then laid the biggest egg down with 2 sided tape then the second one using foam tape and the third using foam dots. Stamped saying from Our Daily Bread Designs called Daffodil Tag on shimmery white paper using black pigment ink and emboss using black EP. Cut it out and embossed using the Fancy tags 3 from Spellbinders. Applied shimmery paint to the embossed edge of the die.
