The Spring has Sprung Challenge for FLourishes

 Spring has Sprung Challenge copy

Here is my Card for the Flourishes' Spring has Sprung Challenge. You were required to use a little robin egg blue, some green grass and a dash of daffodil. I used light blue metallic paper for my base. I took Presto paper and sponge the following colors Blue Lagoon, Lime Pastel and Yellow Cadmium Fluid Chalk on to the Presto paper to highlight the embossed images on the paper. Then I ran it through the embossing folder called Square Lattice to give it texture. Just before applying Presto paper to the light blue metallic paper I wrapped 5/8th Daffodil Delight satin ribbon and then 1/4" grosgrain Tempting Turquoise ribbon. Stamped Daffodil image from the Flourishes set Calendar set 1 onto Copic paper using Memento ink and colored with the following Copic Markers; YG03,YG06, YG07, Y000, Y02, Y06, Y15, YR04,YR07 and YR09. Cut the image out using Spellbinders Lacey Circles applied Blue Lagoon and Lime Pastel to soften the image. Cut a frame out of green metallic paper using 2 different sizes of the Lacey Circles. Applied the frame on top of colored image. With extra piece of the colored Presto paper I stamped saying from Flourishes "Spring Bouquet" using Cyan pigment ink and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. Cut this out using the new Spellbinders "Fancy Tags 3. Applied Gold Lame Smooch ink around the edges. Applied 2 yellow roses as shown.
