JustRite Friday Challenge 057: Frugal Friday
For this week’s challenge, we want to see your inexpensive/frugal gift ideas (anything but a card), using something you have recycled and reused from around your house. We'd like to see you repurpose a 3D item and turn it into a fabulous gift or gift packaging, using your JustRite stamps! I used an old Q-tips box and turned it into a gift box with homemade tags for presents. I used Stampin'Up 'Letters to Santa' designer series paper for all my paper needs plus the addition of brown, green, blue, gold, pink and white glitter paper by American Crafts. I used the following stamps 'Charmed', 'Charming Christmas', 'Merry and Bright' and 'Deck the Halls' all by JustRite Stampers. I stamped sentiments using black archival ink by Ranger. Some of the images were stamped using black pigment ink and emboss using black embossing powder, others were just stamped using Warm Red, Azurite Fluid Chalk by Clearsnap all were stamped on shimmery white paper by Stampin'Up. I used 1/8th Taffeta ribbon in the following colors: Night of Navy, Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight and Pretty in Pink for the ties. For the outside of the box I used the Nested Poinsettia Die by Spellbinders for the first Poinsettia and the second was from Prima Marketing and the leaves were from Recollections by Michael's. I cut out the elegant flourishes using Tim Holtz die using White glitter paper.
