ODBDSLC76 Lacing and Flourishes - A little Fall Fashion Challenge

This weeks challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs was to use lacing on your projects, actually lacing ribbon, lace, string or paper thru something. At Flourishes it was to use the Colors of Fall as shown by the picture.
So I decided to enter this card for both the ODBDSLC76 and FLLCSEP11 challenges. I started off using Soft Suede as a base then used Island Indigo by Stampin'Up as the second layer. I used the retired paper called 'Manchester' Designer Series paper by Stampin'Up for the rest of papers. I stamped saying from the set called 'Full of Grace - Faith' by ODBD using black pigment ink by Clearsnap and emboss using detail black by Ranger on shimmery white paper. Then I used the following colors: Island Indigo, Soft Suede, Summer Sun and Concord Crush by Stampin'Up to tone down the white paper. I cut out the sentiment using Spellbinders 'Lacey Circles'. Then I cut out 3rd largest die (Lacey Circle) out of Crumb Cake laid over the saying and then cut out the largest die using the same die out of Island Indigo. I then ran 1/4" Daffodil Delight taffeta ribbon thru the Lacey Circle as shown. I used the lace ribbon border punch by Stampin'Up to punch out a strip of Certain Celery Designer Series paper and ran 1/4" Early Espresso taffeta ribbon thru it as shown. I stamped 'Spring Bouquet' by Flourishes using black craft's ink by Clearsnap and heat set so it would be permanent. Then I colored image using a watercoloring technique using the following colors; Island Indigo, Summer Sun, Concord Crush, Rich Razzleberry and Lucky Limeade by Stampin'Up with a watercolor brush. At the base of the flowers I tied a bow using 1/4" Marina Mist taffeta ribbon. I add 3 flowers by Prima Marketing as shown and added pearls using a Viva decor pearl pen Ice White as shown.
