I'm back with another card for Digi Darla's week's challenge which is Halloween theme. I started off using black metallic paper for the base which is a 5"X 7" finished card size. I used various retired papers by Stampin'Up for the rest. I made a frame using Spellbinders 'Floral Ovals' and Grand Decorative Ovals One using a purple and orange paper. I printed out 'Halloween Boy' and printed out 'Curly Pumpkin' twice onto shimmery white paper. I colored both images using Prismacolor pencils. I cut out the Halloween Boy using Spellbinders 'Lacey Ovals' and sponged Wisteria and Tangerine Fluid Chalk around the image. Then I outlined the edge using Pumpkin and Grape Soda Smooch ink as shown. I wrapped around 2 pieces of black netting that I found at Michael's. Then I used some orange ribbon that says 'Happy Halloween' again I found at Michael's at the top and bottom of the black netting. I cut out the pumpkins using scissors and laid one on top of each other using pop up dots to add dimension.
I entered this card in the following challenges:
1) Digi Galore - Halloween
2) The Paper Shelter - Challenge #87 Halloween
