Whimsy Stamps - December Digital Stamp Release Showcase!

To Our Valued Customers and Friends:

Over the past week some of you may have noticed intermittent problems with our website resulting in loss of carts, log in problems, and security errors. We apologize for any frustration this may have caused.

During our attempts to diagnose and correct the issues, we have discovered some problems with our current hosting provider and their servers. In an effort to serve our customers better, we have made the decision to switch providers and move our shop to new servers.

This change/move will require our site to be shut down for a number of hours this weekend. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. This change will also result in a delay of our regularly scheduled monthly digital release. But as soon as we are back up and running as normal we will release all the fabulous new images...including those from our brand new digital artist Marika Collins!

Our goal is to provide our customers with the best quality of service possible. We thank you for your patience at this time. We will make every effort to have this transition go as smoothly and as quickly as possible. Thank you for your continued support of Whimsy Stamps and our artists!

Have a great weekend! So hopefully we will back Monday to show off our new digital designs!

Loves Rubberstamps Design Day

Okay I'm back with another card for Loves Rubberstamps Inspiration blog. Here is a really simple card that you can make in 10 minutes. I used white metallic paper for my base which is a 5"x 7" finished card size. I used S.E. I. Winter Song collection for the rest. I used the stripe paper for the first layer and light blue/silver paper for the second layer. For the third layer I cut out the paper 'Snow Globe' and just used the trees for the background which I added some 'Shaved Ice' from Stampendous for some snow. I took a pencil to sketch 2 hills by using the top of the same paper 'Snow Globe' and then ran it thru a paper crimper. I used foam tape to give them dimension. I added some chipboard trees from the same collection to the foreground. I used Magenta's deer called 'Ho Deer' and stamped them using Sapphire Silk pigment ink and embossed using clear embossing powder. You can find them at store here; http://www.lovesrubberstamps.net/category_108/Magenta.htm . I then went over them using Lindy's Stamping Gang Magicals called 'Tibetan Poppy Teal'. I stamped the sentiment from the set called 'Santa Bear' from Popcorn the Bear by Crafter's Companion and you can find the set here at  the store; http://www.lovesrubberstamps.net/category_30/Popcorn-the-Bear.htm . I added some ribbon from May Arts.
