I'm back with another card for Digi Darla's and this week's challenge is to make a Child's Christmas card. I started off using Cherry Cobbler paper for my base which is a 5"x 7" finished card size. I used Tim Holtz's newest seasonal paper stash called 'Holidays Past'. I used Digi Darla's image called 'Polar Bear Christmas' which I coloured using Prismacolor pencils. I added some Twinkling Clouds glitter flocking by Sparkle N Sprinkle to the polar bear, pompom on the hat and scarf. You find these exclusive items to Sparkle N Sprinkle store here; http://sparklensprinkle.com/o/product_info.php?cPath=171_169&products_id=4421
I added some 'Shaved Ice' by Stampendous for snow. I took some red foil paper and than ran it thru Cuttlebug folder called 'Winter Words' and then ran my black Stazon ink pad over the raised words to highlight them. I cut this out using Spellbinders 'Marvelous Squares'. I added some die cut stickers and some Always Artichoke seam binding and bow.
Such a super cute creation, Jackie! Happy colors, happy polar bears, lovely ribbon, darling vintage Santa - that mirror cs is amazing!
