Well I'm back with another card for Whimsy Stamps monthly challenge and this month's challenge is Shape Cards. So here is my shape card, I started off using Eileen Hull's Sizzix Scoreboard's XL Die - Candy Jar for the base. I cut it out using Tim Holtz Grungeboard. I then used Basic Grey collection called 'Out of Print' for the rest.
I added 3 layers before cutting out a frame using Joy Crafts Rectangle Frame using light pink paper. I then used Kathryn Stamp Art Designs digital image called 'Flora Fairy'. I colored her using Prismacolor pencils and added light green glitter to her wings, red and gold glitter to the flower that she is holding as well as her shoes. I then added some Martha Stewart 'Luster glass microbeads- brownstone' for the middle of the flower as well as added some purple glitter to the tips of the flowers. I then added some rhinestone flourishes as well as I cut out some green glitter flourishes that I diecut out using Tim Holtz 'Elegant Flourishes'. I added some cream ruffle ribbon along with some various pink ribbons.
Remember, you don't have to use a Whimsy image on your challenge creation,
although it would be great if you did!
Also, your entry doesn't have to be a card - we welcome all paper projects!
Our Prizes this month are:
A mystery Whimsy Stamps rubber stamp
Don't forget ...as well as random winners being chosen each challenge, one lucky player who has used a Whimsy Stamps image (rubber or digital) will have the opportunity to be a guest designer for a future challenge. If you have used a Whimsy Image and would like to be a future guest, please add GDT to your name when entering. The guest designer will be able to choose a digi stamp of their choice from the store to create their guest card too!
Anyone can enter our challenge and we don't mind you combining with other challenges either! Please remember no more than 3 entries per challenge and all we ask is that you add a link in your blog post to tell your friends you entered the Whimsy Inspirations Challenge
