An Inspirational Post for Whimsy Stamps
Here is another inspirational post for Whimsy Stamps using this adorable little boy fishing by Kathryne Stamp Art Design called 'Charlie'. I colored him using my Prismacolor pencils and decided he needed some bling so I added some glitter to his hat, his vest, the dragonfly and the cute little frog as well as the fishing line. I started off using Early Espresso for my base which is a 5"x 7" finished card size. I used Basic Grey once again collection called "Granola" for the rest. I added 3 layers before cutting out a frame using dark blue metallic paper and a Marianne Creatable die called 'Anja's Square'. I cut out another frame using the same die but used a smaller die and a lighter blue metallic paper. I added another square from the same die using medium blue metallic paper. I then laid down the boy using pop up dots. I then punch out the sentiment that came as a bonus using a ticket punch and then cut out a mat using EK Success punch called a 'Journaling Punch'. I then sponged Blue Iris and French Blue Fluid Chalk around the edges of the sentiment. I added steel blue glitter tape by American Crafts around the four corners and a couple of rhinestone flourishes along the side by Recollections from Michael's.
