Make a creation that is Red, White and Blue. Festive colors for July however they seem to a great fit for Christmas also. Here is my second card, I again started off with blue metallic paper then I layered red metallic paper. I then took a piece of blue paper and ran it thru my Xyron so it would have adhesive on one side. Then I took a piece of tin foil and attached on top of the adhesive back blue paper. I ran it thru embossing folder by Provo Craft called 'Snowflakes'. Then I got out my Alcohol inks from Tim Holtz and used the following colors; Denim, Stonewash, Stream and Cranberry to color the tin foil. I cut out a doily called 'English Tea' by Cheery Lynn Designs using Night of Navy paper by Stampin'Up. I cut out Fleur de Lis pendant by Spellbinders using Red metallic paper. I stamped the Snowman from the set called 'Warm Winter Wishes' by Flourishes using black crafter's ink and heat set it on Shimmery White paper by Stampin'Up. Colored the image using a watercolor technique using Tim Holtz distress reinkers and a watercolor brush. Added white liquid applique and heat it to make it puff up where there was snow. Add sparkle to the snowman scarf and hat by using blue and red Spica pens. I cut it out using Spellbinders 'Label Five' and cut a frame with blue metallic paper. Attached a white organza ribbon from Stampin'Up and attached using silver cording from Stampin'Up a label using a sentiment from the same stamp set using black crafter's ink and emboss using Ranger's detail black EP. Cut out the label using a Stampin'Up label punch.
