Just use the photo to gather inspiration for your project -- either from the colors, patterns, layout, textures or general feeling, combined with your JustRite stamps. So here is my card which is gatefold card which cut down 6"x 10". I added a couple of layers from the collection called "Parisian Breeze" by Stampin'Up. Then I took Spellbinders 'Nested Butterfly' and cut out the left side of fold and then lined up the right side and cut it out. I then took another piece of paper from the same collection and cut out a mat for both sides using the same butterfly die and popped it up using foam dots so I could lay in my Baja Breeze seam binding ribbon to close the book. Then I cut out the butterflies on the left hand side using Spellbinders 'Wonderful Wings' and on the right side I used Cuttlebug's 12" Embossing Border Butterfly.
For the inside I used a couple of layers from the Parisian Breeze specialty paper then I used a paper doily and washed over using Lindy's Stamp Gang Magicals in the following colors; Opal Sea Oats, Tibetan Poppy, Mission Bells and Tiffany's Blue. I then used the large tag from Spellbinder's Ornate Artisan Accents & Tags using Crumb Cake paper and sponging Chestnut Roan Fluid Chalk over it. I then stamped Lace from the Lace Borders by JustRite using platinum pigment ink and Winter Wonderland EP by Stampin'Up onto Baja Breeze paper. Then I took a white foam tip and Prussian Blue Fluid Chalk to deepen the color while wiping off the excess on the embossed part by using a baby wipe. I laid this on top of the paper doily using foam dots to give depth. I cut pendant using Spellbinders 'Lotus Pendant' using Parisian Breeze paper and sponging on Prussian Blue Fluid Chalk by Clearsnap. I stamped oval from the set called 'Vintage Oval' by JustRite using platinum pigment ink and gold EP onto Very Vanilla paper. I colored this in using Lindy's Stamp Gang Magicals in the following colors; Opal Sea Oats, Tibetan Poppy, Mission Bells and Tiffany's Blue. I stamped the saying from the same set using black pigment ink and black EP. I sponged on Chestnut Roan and Prussian Blue Fluid Chalk to tone down the Very Vanilla. I added the butterfly from the Cuttlebug embossing folder and highlighted him with Cape Cod Smooch ink by Clearsnap. I added some Flourishes from Spellbinders ' Twisted Metal & Accents.
Its beautiful!
