Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge #78–December 17, 2011

Check out this fun sketch.  Feel free to turn or flip the sketch, make a shaped card, or just use this shape in or another similar shape in the center of your project - just use the basic principals of this sketch in your design. For this project I decided to used my underused Cricut machine. Using the 'Joys of the Seasons' cartridge, I cut out a 6" ornament tag out of Cherry Cobbler paper by Stampin'Up. I then cut out 1 circle @ 53/4" and another circle @ 5 1/2" using My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Christmas paper. (Note: the real dial was off). Then I cut an outline of the ornament and cut it @ 6". By placing the Be Creative tape on the lace I could wrapped lace around the front portion of the ornament. I then took some Cherry Cobbler Pleated Satin ribbon by Stampin'Up and did the same thing except I placed in the inside of the ornament. I then cut out stars using another Cricut cartridge called 'Plantin Schoolbook'. I cut the 1st star using Early Espresso paper by Stampin'Up @ 5", the 2nd star @ 4 3/4" using Crumb Cake paper and the last star was cut @ 4 1/2" using My Mind's Eye paper. I added some gold waffle paper by Stampin'Up that I folded in half and then used Martha Stewart's fringe scissors to make the fringe. Attached this to the largest star. I then stamped the sentiment 'Peace' from the set called 'Seasonal Remedies' by Waltzingmouse Stamps using black crafter's ink and gold EP by Clearsnap. I cut out a red and gold label using Spellbinders 'Label Fourteen'. Add some ribbon to the top of the ornament.
UPDATE: I was picked to win a free stamp set!!! Thanks Waltzingmouse Stamps!
