Timeless Tuesday #150 with some new twists!

Welcome to the first Timeless Tuesday challenge of 2012! It’s Mona here and it’s my turn to host this week’s Timeless Tuesday challenge. My challenge is to create a Tri-fold card. So here is my creation with a little twist - it's a Gatefold Twisted Easel card when folded it's 5 1/2" square card. For the easel part of the card I used Early Espresso paper by Stampin'Up and for the gatefold part I used blue metallic paper. For the rest of the papers I used my favorite collection Bo Bunny 'Snowfall'. I stamped the snowglobe  and the snowman from the set called "Joy is in the Air" by Flourishes using Memento ink and colored them with Copic Markers using the following colors; Orange - YR02, YR04, YR07, YR14, Blues- B0000, B00,B01,B02, B24, B28,B39, Cool Gray - C00,C1,C2,C3,C4,C5,C7, Reds- R24,R27,R29, R89 and Earth E50,E55,E57, E59 and E79. I added Blue Highlight Glitter for the snow, snowman and the edge of the jacket. I cut out blue metallic flourishes using Spellbinders 'Twisted Metal and Accents die. I attached snowflakes from Bo Bunny 'Layered Chipboard as shown. I added Liberty Blue glitter to all the flourishes using a Quickie glue pen. I then cut out Sizzix Frameback Ornate #8 die using chipboard, blue glitter paper and Bo Bunny paper for the mat and the back of
the chipboard as shown in the picture. I put adhesive one side of the chipboard so that you can open it up to see the inside. I cut out a frame from Bo Bunny's 'Cut Outs' and then I cut out another flourish using "La Rue Flourish" by Memory Box dies. On top of this I stamped the saying from the set called "Christmas Postcard" by Flourishes using black crafter's ink and clear embossing powder by Clearsnap on to shimmer white paper. I then used Prussian Blue and Chestnut Roan Fluid Chalk to tone down the white paper. I punched it out using Stampin'Up scallop punch and large oval punch using brown metallic paper.
