DDC # 20 - Animal Crackers
I'm back with another card for Digi Darla's and this week's challenge is to use a cutesy animal image by Floppy Designs. Okay this image isn't very cutesy but I like it and it's called Butterfly and Grass. Here it is when it's closed. I made a modified Tri-shutter card using Kim Score's directions http://www.paperpunchaddiction.com/2012/06/woohoo-wednesday-modified-tri-shutter.html
I made my a little bigger than hers. I used Certain Celery as the based which a 6"square when folded up. I used Pink Paislee collection called 'Butterfly Garden' for the rest of my papers. I colored the butterfly by Floppy Latte's Digital Design using Prismacolor pencils and cut it out using Spellbinders 'Lacey Squares'. I then cut out a scalloped square using Spellbinders 'Classic Scalloped Square' and used Anna Griffin green fuzzy paper from'Carolina' Collection. I set this on a chipboard coaster. I added some green/blue satin ribbon by May Arts to close the card.
