DDC # 24 - Digging for Gold
It's Tuesday and I'm back with another card with Digi Darla's challenge. This week's challenge is Digging for Gold. Here is my card, I used metalliic gold paper which is a finished card size of 5"x 7". I used Mariposa Butterfly Border gold glitter paper by DCWV for the first layer and then used Mariposa Tan Frame Gold Foil paper by DCWV for the second layer. I sponged both layers using Wisteria Fluid Chalk by Clearsnap. I added gold netting by May Arts and then laid down a gold ribbon on top along with a bow. I then cut out the frame from Mariposa Butterfly Border gold glitter paper. I printed the Single Hydrangea onto shimmery white paper and coloured using Prismacolor pencils and then made a slit in the frame to tuck in the flower. I added gold candi brads on top & bottom of the frame. I printed 'Birthday Wishes' and matted it on gold paper.
