Stamping Dragon Design Day - Back to School Theme
Well I'm back with another card for Stamping Dragon Design and this week's challenge is Back To School.
Which in 2 weeks my son will be heading back to school for his final year, grade 12. OMG I can't believe it, my baby is growing up too quickly! I used metallic black paper for my base which is 5"x 7" finished card size. I used these old school papers that I have had in my stash for years at least 8 years okay maybe not that long. For the first layer I used
'School Stripes' by SandyLion along with 'School Pencil Crayons', I cut both these papers at 3 1/2" and overlapped them for the first layer. I then used the cork paper and laid in the middle. I then took a black #8 tag and cut out different words using 'School Blackboard' by SandyLion and some of the words were popped up using foam dots. I coloured Jiggy Back to School using Prismacolor Pencils and cut him out using scissors. You can find Jiggy Back to School here; http://dragonslairdesigns.com/shop . I cut out the pencils, book and notebook from the paper called 'TC School Days Artwork" by Tim Coffey for K & Company and overlaid it with the coordinating vellum by the same company.
