It's Saturday again and I'm back with another card for Loves Rubberstamps! I started off using Early Espresso for my base which is 5"x 7" finished card size. I used Basic Grey collection called 'Stella Ruby' for the rest of my papers. I used the latest stamp set from Art Impressions called 'The Weigh In' I stamped the ladies using black Memento ink onto shimmery white paper and colored them in using Copic Markers. I cut them out leaving a little halo and mounted them using pop up dots onto a brown metallic rectangle which was cut out using a Spellbinders 'Lattice Rectangle' die. I then laid it on top of red metallic square again cut out by Spellbinders 'Fleur de Lis Square' die. I added some Pear Pizzazz seam binding along with a double bow. I stamped the sentiment from the same set using frost white pigment ink and embossed using gold EP. I punch it out using a Decorative Label punch by Stampin'up and laid it on a red metallic label cut out by using a Memory box die called 'Penne Frame' I added 4 basic pearl large.
This is so adorable! I love the image and the great dp and design. The layers are fabulous. I can so relate to these gals! I just did a Biggest Loser challenge with the gals at work and lost 21 lbs (oh but I do have a longgg ways to go, lol) and I not only won the challenge but I was encouraged to keep going. Slow going now, but worth it.
