Loves Rubberstamps Design Day

Well I'm back with another card for my Inspirational post at the Loves Rubberstamp's blog. So here is another Christmas card using Impression Obsession's Marshmallow Mug. I started off using Island Indigo paper for my base which is a 5"x 7" finished card size. I then used Tim Holtz Shabby Chic paper stash for the rest. I used 2 layers and then use a light gold paper for the 3rd layer. I then ran it thru a Cuttlebug embossing  folder called 'Swiss Dots'. I then cut out a frame using Spelbinders 'Asian Motifs' and then cut a square piece of gold metallic paper to fit inside the frame. Once again I ran it thru a Cuttlebug embossing folder called 'Script'. I then took a Tim Holtz distress strain called 'Pumice Stone' and used it over top. I then cut out a teacup using Spellbinders 'Nested Teacups' and ran it thru Tim Holtz embossing folder called 'Snowflakes'. I cut the base for the teacup using a Cottage Cutz die called 'Teacup with Saucer /teabag'. I highlighted the teacup using Blue Iris Fluid Chalk. I stamped the Marshmallow Mug using black memento ink and colored using Prismacolor pencils. You find this stamp at the store here; http://www.lovesrubberstamps.net/item_1300/MARSHMALLOW-MUG-Cling-Mounted-Rubber-Stamp-by-Alesa-Baker-from-Impression-Obsession.htm I also used a Marvy Snow Writer pen to add dimension to the marshmallows and pompoms which I also added some blue glitter. I also added white flocking to the snowman and his hat & scarf. I then laid the marshmallow cup on top using pop up dots. I added a sentiment from Justrite called 'Christmas Vintage Labels One' and again you find Justrite in the store here; http://www.lovesrubberstamps.net/category_307/JustRite-Papercraft.htm
I stamped it using black crafter's ink and embossed using gold embossing powder. I then added some ribbon that I found at Michael's.
You can also find Tim Holtz, Spellbinders and Memento inks at Laura's store here; http://www.lovesrubberstamps.net/
