I'm back with another card for Stamping Dragon and this week's Hostess is Angela who's challenge us to use a Bird image on our card. We were given a image and I chose Yoo Hoo Rocks which I colored him using my Prismacolor pencils. I started off using Cherry Cobbler for my base which is a 5"x 7". I used Kaisercraft Twigs & Berries Collection for the first 3 layers. I added a red metallic paper and ran it thru a Cuttlebug folder called 'Allegro'. I then ran my Black Stazon ink pad over top to highlight the raised areas. Unfortunately I don't know enough about my Photoshop Elements 10 to make the red stand out without making the rest of card look washout. If anybody has any ideas, I would love to hear about them. I then took this piece of chipboard by Twiddleybitz and stained it using Tim Holtz distress stain called 'Pine Needles' which I then added some red basic pearls. I cut out a pendant using gold stripe metallic paper and Spellbinders die called 'Lotus Pendant'. I laid down You Hoo Rocks using pop up dots. I used the sticker 'Joy to the World by Kaisercraft and added a red satin ribbon by May Arts. I then added a green satin ribbon and bow by May Arts as shown.
I love that little image - so cute!
