The Challenge from Claire was to
hereby invite you all to make a Christmas tag and post it here in this
post for a chance to win big. I'm going to give the winner 4 stamp sets
of their choice! Create your Tag using your favorite Waltzingmouse Stamps! So here is my tag. I actually used my Cricut machine to cut the tag out using Pool Party textured cardstock by Stampin'Up using the cartridge 'Joys of the Season'. It was cut at 6" not using the real dial setting. Then I used BoBunny collection called "Snowy Serenade" for the next layer cut at 4 1/2". I then I cut @ 6" the outline of the ornament using my Cricut machine using purple metallic paper by Stardream. On top of this I used Design Adhesives called 'Holly Border' by Clearsnap. Using scissors a cut out my designs, then using a paper stump I carefully rubbed adhesive where I wanted. Then I used Merlot Glitter Ritz for the berries and Sweet Basil and Sea Green for the leaves all by In The Making Enterprises.I applied Baja Breeze pleated satin ribbon to the outside of the purple ornament and crochet ribbon to the inside before applying to the base ornament. I stamped 'Old Fashioned Christmas' from the set Seasonal Remedies by WMS using black crafter's ink and gold embossing powder all by Clearsnap. I then used Tim Holtz distress stains in the following colors Dusty Concord, Chipped Sapphire and Tumble Glass to color it. I applied 'Baby' Tear Drops by The Robin's Nest and used Wild Pansy rhinestones by Bazzil Basics as shown. I used BoBunny Flowers and brads from the same collection as the paper for my flowers. I stamped the littlest Poinsettia from the set 'Big Bloom Poinsettia' by WMS using black crafter's ink and gold embossing powder all by Clearsnap. I colored the Poinsettia using Lindy's Stamp Gang Magicals using the following colors; Frosted Purple Iris, Hydrangea Blue and Voodoo Violet Blue. I layered them together using pop up dots. Added some bluish/purplish satin ribbon from May Arts.
Wow, this is just gorgeous!
