This week's Challenge at Loves Rubberstamps  is to use Tic-Tac-Toe to make a creation that makes either a line or diagonal  on your board - one catch is that you must have all 3 elements on a card. So here is my card which uses gold paper as my base and a 5"x 7" card size. I'm used buttons, Spellbinder die cuts and embossing for my Tic-Tac-Toe.

I used the following  Anna Griffin papers; AG1670 (stripe), AG1667, AG1686 and AG1666 for the rest of my papers.  I used AG1667 for the first layer and then used AG1670 for the second layer. I ran the striped paper thru a Stampin'Up embossing folder called 'Lacy Brocade'. I then used a Stampin'Up folder called 'Square Lattice' and AG1666 paper for the third layer. I cut out the frame using gold paper and Spellbinders 'Label 10'and ran it thru another Stampin'Up embossing folder called 'Fancy Fan'. I then cut out a frame using Spellbinders 'Label 10' using the largest and second largest frame using AG1668 paper. I stamped the 'Elegant Flower' by La Blanche onto their specialty paper using Coffee Archival ink by Ranger. I colored the image using Tim Holtz distress markers. I then went over the flower and the butterfly using an embossing pen and applied UTEE and then heat set. I added 4 Real Red corduroy buttons along with some gold thread. I cut out some flourishes using gold paper and Spellbinders 'Twisted Metal Accents  & Tags.

How would you like to try out for Guest Designer for Loves Rubberstamps? Here is all the information about being our Guest Designer who will create projects for our weekly challenges for the month of their term. You will have your work showcased on the Loves Rubberstamps challenge blog along with the design team samples, on our facebook page, and possibly in our store as samples. Term will be 4 - 5 weeks depending on how many weeks there are in your month. The only requirement is you HAVE to use stamps from companies that we carry in our store on your projects and they have to be in their current line, no retired images. Even if we do not have that particular image in stock, as long as it is a current one we can order... you can use it.

As a guest designer you will receive a 20% discount off any stamps that we carry in the store during your term!

If you want the chance to be our guest designer for the month of SEPTEMBER just play along in one of our weekly challenges and put GDT after your name next to your entry. We will be accepting applicants in this week's challenge and next week's and will announce who the Guest Designer will be on August 21st.
